Monarch is a branch of CSSM Ministries(founded in 1927) and is dedicated to bringing the knowledge of Christ to children. Monarch is a mobile ministry bringing camp to small communities in the Kawartha/Haliburton area. We run 6 weeks of Day Camp where children enjoy all the activities of a full camp program in a daytime setting. We do a week of Resident Camp at Kinark Outdoor Centre. Activities include: Archery, Mountain Biking, Canoes, Kayaks, Trampoline, Crafts, Drama, Sling Shots, group games and loads of fun. At Monarch campers learn new skills, are physically active and enjoy the great outdoors. Campers are encouraged to learn and grow and build great friendships with others and with God.
